Excellent tune, very catchy, audience loved it and were singing along at the
end, excellent performance, typical Eurovision winner, been going through my
head the last few days.
Why did it do so poorly, 15th place? Okay, I know Lordi was excellent but
this song should have at least been a close 2nd, not 15th!
The only reason I can think it was an country music which may got the anti
American vote.
Song was "Texas Lightning - No No Never" for anyone wishing to download it.

My reaction to the german song was mainly that I kept on thinking "why
the hell has germany gone for a country song, and not something more
traditional".
It wasn't _bad_ IMO.

IMO, if you go with something non-traditional, be it rap, country, or
horror rock, it has to be absolutely outstanding.
In other words, maybe if there had been horses onstage :)
