Now that Finland one this year's contest, no doubt that the next contest in 2007 will be coming from Finland. Most
probably from the capital of Helsinki.

As I plan a visit to Finland in 2007 I thought it would be great to attend the song contest there. I have also been told
that you have to order tickets almost a year in advance, so that's why I am posting about it now.

Can anybody tell me where I could get the first information regarding the venue for next years song contest?

Any information that could lead to me getting tickets for next year's show is sincerely welcome.

Many regards,

Charles.

Actually it's not decided yet and I bet Lordi's hometown Rovaniemi is also
quite seriously concidered.

Why not? There is an arena which is larger than the one in Athens.

Peksi
Really? Which one?
The one in Athens had seating for 18,500 people and a 500m2 press centre
with a 100m2 press room.

Which particular arena in Rovaniemi did you have in mind that tops those
figures?

Seems they have told it wrongly in radio, seems I don't have the right info.
Anyway it's not decided yet.

Here is the link to the Lappi - Arena which is said to be larger than the
one in Athens, I haven't measured it but that's what they saisd in news
broadcast.
