Lebanon withdraws from Eurovision
It never belonged in Eurovision. Nor did 'Israel'. Threre's nothing
'Euro' about a bunch of primitive semites. Asiavision perhaps?

Do the Arabs have their own version of the song contest? Somehow I do

Apparently countries such as Libya belong to Eurovision but have
consistently refused to participate in the annual song contest because
of the presence of 'Israel'.

Which makes you wonder why Lebanon decided to enter in the first place when
it was known that Israel would also be participating

Precisely: common sense is sadly lacking in that part of the world.
